My Background in family Photography
Encouraged by my husband and friends, I delved into photography more seriously, finding joy in freezing the precious moments of my growing family. Now, as a mother of four and a military spouse, I specialize in family, maternity, and newborn/milestones photography, blending patience, creativity, and empathy to craft timeless images for my clients.
Our experience with Michaela was exceptional in every way. We reached out to her "later" in the season of getting family photos due to us just moving to Hawaii. She was incredibly prompt in responding to us and had availability that was beyond generous.
She was incredibly easy to shoot pictures with and was so absolutely wonderful with our kids. The final pictures are full of color, depth and captured our family so well. We are elated to have these photos to celebrate this season of life with our family and cannot recommend Michaela enough.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had with this beautiful lady! Our original photographer was sick and recommended her, not only did she step in, she was fo very patient with the grandkids, and shot the best photos! I can only give 5 stars here .. but definitely would give her 10 out of 10! These photos are a treasure !!

Michaela has photographed so much of my life and my little family. I have never loved the end results of a photo shoot, as much as I have when Michaela is behind the camera. She is a mother herself, and She works well with families who have young kids who might not cooperate as much as you’d like for photos.
Her editing style is minimal yet beautiful. I can not say enough about how much I love her photography. I CRIED the last time she gave me my newborn photos back, knowing I’d be soon moving and unable to have her photograph any more of my life.

Could seriously cry at how beautiful the pictures Michaela got of our son’s cake smash turned out!!!
Michaela is so very sweet, attentive, great communication leading up to the shoot, she brought props, is connected with a phenomenal baker, and was quick to set up and start taking photos (you know how babies can get ). The light from the sunset was captured so well, which made the water in the background and my son’s blue eyes pop. She ended up getting his personality to shine through so well within the photos also, thanks to her being soo amazing with kids!
I highly recommend Michaela for your photography needs. She’s amazing and I’m so grateful for these pictures/memories she got of our soon-to-be one year old!
